Operator 112
The year is 1928. In a world defined by the bold geometry and stark palettes of Soviet Constructivism, Operator 112 follows a dedicated woman scientist stationed at a high stakes monitoring hub. Amidst a landscape of rigid propaganda and industrial machinery, she is tasked with overseeing Project Earth, a mission of immense scale and questionable intent. As she navigates the technical demands of her console rendered in sharp reds, deep blacks, and aged creams, she begins to uncover fragments of a truth hidden beneath official Cyrillic directives. The film explores the tension between individual discovery and state mandated progress, framing her intellectual struggle as a visual ballet of shadows and silhouettes. Caught between her duty to the Take 112 protocols and her own burgeoning conscience, the Operator must decide if she will remain a cog in the machine or redefine the very blueprint of the world she monitors.

Under Lock and Key
Under Lock and Key is a noir mystery short film in homage to the classic detective movies from the 1940’s through 1960’s. The story follows thew worlds greatest detective as he is facing an unsolved mystery that may take him down. He exhausts all possible resources as he tracks down his coveted car keys before going to work in the morning. This parody flips the conventions of the noir genre on its head as it takes comedic turns and plays off the overly dramatic and serious tone found in the classic pictures, while maintaining its striking noir aesthetic.

-Dawson Jolicoeur-
My name is Dawson Jolicoeur, A Media and Entertainment recent graduate from Kennesaw State University. I am a filmmaker with ambitions to one day work as a grip in the film industry. I have been working on short film crews for three years and finally got the opportunity to direct a short film of my own in October of 2025. I have always loved movies, and getting to make my own is a real dream realized. Some of my favorite movies are the ones with incredibly stylized visual looks so I jumped at the chance to make a film with the noir aesthetic. I hope to work in the film industry and continue making short films with my friends.
